CAFETERIA
Lunch Program Updates: We are excited to offer a
kid-friendly lunch using a local vendor--Subway on Mondays beginning
10/8. We've selected the menu with care and attention to food quality,
value and nutritional guidelines. We hope your children will enjoy
this option. As you know we do not have a fully functional cafeteria
so lunches can not be prepared on site.
The St. Jude Lunch Program is a service for our parents and our school.
Therefore we have to depend on volunteers to organize and implement
a Lunch Program. In addition to the current cafeteria volunteers for
Mondays, we will need an additional 2-3 volunteers to support this
program.
Volunteers are needed from 11-1 to set up, serve, and clean up. If
you can help, please contact Laurie Rensing at 574-6899 as soon as
possible and let her know if you are available the 1st, 2nd, 3rd,
4th or 5th Mondays of each month. We will evaluate the program again
mid October to determine if we will add Wednesdays as well in November
and going forward. The first orders were due on Friday, September
9/28. No late orders will be accepted. Payments should be made with
checks only and no refunds will be given. Please see the order form
for specific instructions.
We also will need volunteers to help count the orders on Tuesday
10/2 at 9am in the Undercroft. We will need 20 volunteers to help
out with this important part of the program in order to be able to
get all 20 homerooms counted for all of October. If you can help,

This program is a huge undertaking and will not be successful or
able to be continued without the support of YOU the parent volunteer.
Please consider our motto "Put Your Face in the Place" this
