ST. JUDE PTO - FUNDRAISERS
Box Tops
The Box Tops fundraiser consists of clipping the Box Tops from
hundreds of General Mills products. There are boxes located at
the entrances of Church, at school, and in each homeroom for you
to drop off labels. They can also be turned in through the
school’s Wednesday envelope. For each Box Top turned in, the
PTO receives 10¢. There also is a monthly Box Tops and Tyson
contest between homerooms. Each month the winning homeroom
receives a reward, with an overall winner at the end of the school
year.
This is a year-round fundraiser.

Gift Certificate Program
The Gift Certificate Program is a huge fundraiser for the PTO.
We offer gift certificates from many different businesses in our
area. The Program purchases the gift certificates at a discount,
then sells them to St. Jude parishioners at face value. This is a
great way to help support our school without any extra money coming
out of your pocket. The certificates can be used for everyday shopping
– not just for gifts. Certificates can be purchased after the Saturday
and Sunday Masses and through the school’s Wednesday envelope. Any additional
times to buy gift certificates will be listed in the ‘Hey Jude’ and church
bulletin. Order forms come home through school in the Wednesday envelope
once a month. The orders are filled on Thursdays. New order forms are
replaced when the orders are filled. Volunteers are always needed to fill
orders and to sell the gift certificates after the Church Masses.

Rachel Kern (941-2523, rmk@fuse.net), and Marsha Stowe (598-6797, mstowe@cinci.rr.com).
The Kroger Neighborhood Reward Program is a part of the Gift Certificate Program.
However, with this program the Kroger cards are not actual gift certificates.
First, you purchase a Kroger card through the Gift Certificate Program for $10
(which is the value of the card). Prior to ringing up your purchases, you add
additional money to your card (up to a total of $250). You can add any amount
to your Kroger card with cash, check, or credit card. After your groceries are
rung up, you pay with your Kroger card, and the amount is deducted from your card.
St. Jude earns 4% on purchases of $5,000 or more.
Ladies' Night Out
This event is all about enjoying an evening with the women of St. Jude!
While enjoying good conversation, hors d’oeuvres and some drinks, various
vendors are available for some shopping enjoyment.

Market Day
PTO participates in a food co-op called Market Day. Market Day has been in
operation since 1975 and has grown to include thousands of schools just like
ours. Each month restaurant-quality food products can be purchased from
companies such as Tropicana, Tyson, Smuckers, Campbell’s, and Kraft. These
products are competitively priced, and PTO earns a profit on the purchases.
Order forms go home each month through the Wednesday envelope. Parents can
fill out the form and send it back to school or there is the option of ordering
online at www.marketday.com. In the past, this PTO fundraiser has generated
$5,000-$6,000 profit a year. Volunteers are always needed to help on the evening
of pick-up of the products and to make reminder telephone calls.
Chairpersons: Tracy Kroger (574-5230, DTKROGER@CINCI.RR.COM), Anita Seibert
(467-9590, NITOWV@aol.com), and Kay Watts (941-9429, kaywatts@roadrunner.com).
Sally Foster
Sally Foster is St. Jude School’s largest fundraiser. You
can purchase quality gift-wrap, chocolates, and a variety of
items from their catalogs. St. Jude has used Sally Foster as
a fundraiser for the past several years and has been very
successful with it. On average, we have grossed approximately
$19,000 a year and use this money to fund various school
activities throughout the year. It is also the first fundraiser
of the year and usually starts after the first few weeks of school.
Chairpersons: Jen Long (598-4768, jenmclong@fuse.net) and Laura Culman (574-8508 lculman@cinci.rr.com)
Spirit Wear
Spirit wear are items that promote school spirit and pride and are sold at various
times during the school year. The sale times are posted in the “Hey, Jude” and
the Church bulletin. You can also order spirit wear during the school calendar
months by turning in an order form with payment to the School Office. During this
time, orders will be collected from the Office on the first Friday of each month.
An order form of available items is listed on the St. Jude website (stjudebridgetown.org,
PTO, Spirit Wear) for your ordering convenience. Embroidered and personalized
coats/jackets can be ordered for students and/or families using the coat order form.
Spirit wear items can be viewed on the website and include sweatshirts, t-shirts, adult
golf shirts, shorts, topper bags, key chains, huggies, stadium cups, window cling-ons,
golf towels, and lanyards.

Tyson Project A+ Label Collection Program
Labels from Tyson chicken products are collected and submitted
for 40¢ per label. Eligible products have the label “Project A+”
printed on them. These labels can be dropped into the Box Top
boxes located at the entrances of Church, at school, and in each
homeroom. The labels can also be turned in through the school’s
Wednesday envelope. This is a year-round fundraiser.
